Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Sisu Shift, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the application.

2. Description of Service

Sisu Shift is a healthcare scheduling platform that enables nurses and healthcare workers to manage work schedules, track earnings, and coordinate with team members.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorised use at legal@sisushift.net.

4. Account Termination and Data Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be permanently erased within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy, except where retention is required by Finnish law. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Misuse the service or use it for unlawful purposes
• Share personal health-related data of others without their consent, in violation of applicable data protection law
• Attempt to access, interfere with, or disrupt other users' data or the service infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the application

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Sisu Shift — including but not limited to the software, design, text, and graphics — are owned by us and protected by applicable Finnish and EU intellectual property laws.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Finnish law and applicable EU consumer protection regulations, Sisu Shift is provided "as is" without express or implied warranties. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of the service.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under Finnish law or the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

We are not liable for damages arising from your reliance on schedule information where such reliance is unreasonable, or where the error results from data you have entered.

8. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Finnish courts. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
